The welding department, here at Magnus Hitech, has recently added another unit to its line up, further diversifying methods of welding and making it more efficient. Miller’s state of the art AlumaFeed™ Synergic Aluminum Welding System uses the productivity and simplicity of MIG (Molybdenum Inert Gas), but provides a TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) feel and appearance. The AlumaFeed uses a wire feeding mechanism which elimates the need to manually applying welding wire to the product. This, undoubtedly, allows the welder to have a free hand, allowing them to work more comfortably and accurately.

Features included in the AlumaFeed, such as Hot Start, help begin and end welds accurately, without messy puddles. The Crater ability is another useful feature which prevents from making crater defects. It does so by gradually decreasing the rate of currents when ending a weld. And with the built-in programmable Pulsed Programs, peak and background currents are automatically adjusted into sync with the welder’s desired wire speed, virtually eliminating warping and distorting.
